Artist's Comments

. . . Please full view . . .

I know most of you guys probably think i died, but i haven't. This is my latest piece, and before you say anything, I'm well aware it's quite boring to look at. However this is the last of it's kind for now, both in how it's made and the style. I'm going to experiment with lively stuff, lots to learn.

This is just an idea i had for generations, although it didn't quite turn out the way i was expecting. Took me roughly a month from start to finish, i won't be saying how i did it exactly, but i won't be using this long and crazy technique anymore. The actual drawing is suppose to be an old wooden coach that is pulled not by horses, but by electric mono wheels which were made by an ancient society, a different era.

As i have said i know it's not very interesting to look at, but any comments regarding the pencil work or anything would be deeply appreciated. Feel free to crit my work also, i actually enjoy that from the right people.

I love the originality of this, and how much detail you've etched into each and every piece of the design.
I love the uneven levels and spaces between the wheels at the front, and the wiring on them all.
I think the front part of the machine is the best designed part, and is the most intricate.

The only thing i'd have said, would be to have put in some shadow under the object, on the ground. And a floor level, so it was sat on something.
Or to incorporate some of the front wheel design into the back wheels.

Oh wow, nicely done sir.
Very intriguing, how does it work? :)

I love this. I think it's interesting and not something that you see every day. I like the whole structure and balance of it. Really, nice work.

I think it's stunning. I love how you've managed to get so much texture in here, especially the wood.
The idea itself is really clever, and I disagree with what you say about it not being interesting to look at, it is!
=)

Thank you very much for your comment, it means a lot to me. Maybe i got bored looking at it while making it, i think if it took me less time, i would have got attached to it a little more.

Thanks Sei, as always with you, you ask questions lol. Well, it has got big batteries inside, that power the three electric coils, one in each mono wheel (the magnets are underneath the shell thingy, didn't want to draw everything visible). It's a rather simple design compared to some modern stuff.

Ah thank you!
You know that's probably the best part about this work. You actually thought about how it works! It makes sense and if anyone would ever build something like it, it could actually work.
If I may ask some more questions about it ^^;
It looks like it's largely made of wood, correct?
What are the other vital parts that make it work?
How does the driver control it?
:giggle:
Feel free to tell me to shut up!
:iconwolfenion:
It is mostly wood mmhmm, wood and iron. It isn't drawn to a technical level where i thought of everything, about how it works. It is left to your imagination, so there dragon boy. Now shut up you :giggle:

Thanks for the reply ^_^
